Airport pickup / hotel transfers: Complimentary transfers between the airport and our branches in Auckland and Christchurch on the day you pick-up your vehicle and again when you return it. In Queenstown, we are located inside the airport terminal itself.
One way rental: One way rentals are available between all branch locations. A One-Way Fee of NZ$150 applies for rentals between the North and South Islands where pick-up is between 1 October 2005 and 31 March 2006.

Assistance: 24-hour on-road assistance
Excess: The customer is responsible for the first NZ$5,000 of the cost of damage for motorhomes. With Excess Reduction Option 1 (NZ$20/day) the customer is responsible for the first NZ$2,500 of damage. With Excess Reduction Option 2 (NZ$38/day) the hirer will not have to pay excess for any damage to the vehicle.

Pets allowed: The customer will not allow any animals to be carried in the vehicle, excluding registered guide dogs
Cleaning fee(s): Maui reserves the right to retain a NZ$125 soiling fee if the vehicle is not returned with the interior in a clean condition. The toilet and waste water tank (if applicable) must be emptied prior to the return of the vehicle, or an additional NZ$125 soiling fee will be retained.
Pick up / drop off times: Maui Branches are open 7 days per week, from 0700 hrs to 1800 hrs. Queenstown Branch closes at 1700 hrs between
1st June and 1st November. Branches are closed Christmas day.
Minimum driver's age: 21 years of age
Charge for extra driver: There are no fees for additional drivers
Travel restrictions: Maui vehicles may only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well-maintained roads. Vehicles are not permitted to be driven on Skippers Road (Queenstown), Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), Ball Hut Road (Mt Cook), North of Colville Township (Coromandel Peninsula), and Tapu-Coroglen Road (Coromandel Peninsula). The customer is responsible for all damage if travelling on these roads.
