Changing of return location at late notice may incur a NZ$500 urgent repositioning fee if the vehicle is already booked to go out from the original return location following your hire. |

| Smoking allowed: | Smoking is strictly forbidden in the sleeping area of any of our campers. We do have some campers in which we allow smoking in the driving area, but most of our fleet is completely smoke-free. If you wish to have a camper that you can smoke in you MUST advise prior to booking. As so few of our campers are smoking, please be aware that in peak times requesting a smoking camper may not be possible. |

| Cleaning fee(s): | There will only be an additional cleaning charge if the inside of the vehicle requires extra-ordinary cleaning (in 6 years in the rental business and 1000's of customers, we have only charged 3 people a cleaning charge). |
| Pick up / drop off times: | Normal opening hours are 9am to 7pm, but pickup outside these times can be arranged, and we do regularly meet the late night arrivals from Australia and Singapore |
| Minimum driver's age: | The minimum age to drive our vehicles is generally 21, however we can rent to over people aged 18 and over if certain criteria is met. If you are between 18 and 20, please contact us and we will endeavor to accommodate you. |

| Travel restrictions: | There are none!! With your 4WD camper from Backpacker Rentals you can go almost anywhere! You are however prohibited from driving in salt water, and damage resulting from immersion of the vehicle in salt or fresh water is not covered by insurance. |
